Follow these steps to assign the Aptean CRM role to your Role Center page:

  1. Select the Settings icon > My Settings.
    The My Settings page opens.
  2. In the Role field, select the AssistEdit button .
    The Available Roles page opens.
  3. Select the Aptean CRM Role and click OK.
Your Role Center page is customized with Aptean CRM.
The Aptean CRM Role Center page has the following menus and provides shortcuts to the Setup and AR Aging links:
    • Setup menu: Select Setup > Aptean CRM Setup link to open the Aptean CRM Setup page.
    • Process menu: Select Process > Aptean CRM AR Aging Details link to go to the Aptean CRM Aging Details page.

A Cue in the Activities section provides a visual representation of the aggregated synchronization data, such as the number of contacts and companies that failed to be sent to the Aptean CRM application or the number of sales history transaction records that failed to be updated in the Aptean CRM application.

The details of the Cues are as follows:

Contacts & Companies Cue group

  • Failed Contact(s): Displays the number of Contacts of type Person that could not be sent to the Aptean CRM application.
  • Failed Company(s): Displays the number of Contacts of type Company that could not be sent to the Aptean CRM application.

Sales History Cue group

  • Failed Sales Order(s): Displays the number of sales orders that could not be sent to the Aptean CRM application.
  • Failed Posted Sales Invoice(s): Displays the number of posted sales invoices that could not be sent to the Aptean CRM application.
  • Failed Posted Cr. Memo(s): Displays the number of posted sales credit memos that could not be sent to the Aptean CRM application.
  • Failed AR Aging Record(s): Displays the number of AR Aging records that could not be sent to the Aptean CRM application.

The color for all the Cues is green when the records are sent successfully to the Aptean CRM application; that is when the count in the Cue is zero.
When a count in a Cue is greater than or equal to one, the cue changes to red and indicates that the specified number of records are not sent to the Aptean CRM application.

Configure the Cues

In the Activities section, select the Aptean CRM Activities arrow and select Set Up Cues option.

The Cue Setup page opens. For each Cue, you can define the threshold values for various levels and options of range styles to set color indicators.
