Create and print SSCC numbers and labels from the SSCC list page

You can create SSCC numbers, view an overview of all SSCC numbers, and print SSCC labels from the SSCC List page.

SSCC list page

The SSCC List page provides a centralized overview of serial shipping container codes used in warehouse and logistics processes.

  1. Select the Search icon , enter SSCC List, and then choose the related link.
    The SSCC List list page opens.

  2. Enter the required information in the following fields:

    FieldDescription
    SSCC No.Specifies the 18-digit number that uniquely identifies the logistics unit.
    Shipping ContainerSpecifies the shipping container that holds the item(s) for processing.
    No. Printed Basic SSCC LabelSpecifies the number of times the basic SSCC label has been printed.
    Total VolumeSpecifies the total volume of all lines associated with the SSCC.
    Gross Container WeightSpecifies the gross weight of the shipping container.
    Total Net WeightSpecifies the total net weight of all items included in the SSCC.
    Total Gross WeightSpecifies the total gross weight of all items included in the SSCC.
    Creation DateSpecifies the date the SSCC was created.
    Total QuantitySpecifies the total quantity of the sales order line linked to one or more SSCC lines.
    Total Quantity (Base)Specifies the total base quantity of the sales order line linked to one or more SSCC lines.

Create SSCC numbers

  1. Select the Search icon , enter SSCC List, and then choose the related link.
    The SSCC List page opens.
  2. On the action bar, select Actions > Create SSCC Numbers.
    The Create SSCC Numbers page opens.
  3. On the General FastTab, enter the Use setup from and Quantity field values.
  4. Select OK.
    The SSCC number is created.

The labels of the posted SSCC number(s) can be printed and attached to the logistic unit. Multiple lines can be selected to print them all at once.

  • On the action bar, select Print > Print detailed SSCC label(s).

    • Print basic SSCC label(s): Prints the report based on the label layout specified in the Basic SSCC Label Layout field on the Company SSCC Setup page and displays the field values in the header of the associated SSCC page.
    • Print detailed SSCC label(s): Prints the report based on the label layout specified in the SSCC Label Layout Code field on the Customer SSCC Setup (SSCC lines from sales order) or Transfer Route SSCC Setup (SSCC lines from transfer order) page and displays the field values in the lines of the associated SSCC page. If the SSCC Label Layout Code field is blank, then the system takes the value from the Detailed SSCC Label Layout field on the Company SSCC Setup page.

The labels are printed based on the detailed SSCC label layout specified on the Company SSCC Setup page. However, if the SSCC Label Layout is specified on the Customer SSCC Setup page, it takes precedence and is used for label printing. In the case of an SSCC created for a transfer order, the SSCC Label Layout defined in the Transfer Route SSCC Setup is utilized when printing labels.
