Generate reports
You can generate reports directly from the Shop Floor Production page to monitor and manage various aspects of production, including work in progress, material requirements, shortages, and periodic batch activities.
Follow the below steps to generate the reports.
- Open the Shop Floor Production page.
- Navigate to the desired production order.
The system displays options on the action bar to generate reports based on the configuration set in the Default Report Selection field on the Shop Floor Production Setup page. The PRINT JOB CARD button is displayed by default. - Select PRINT JOB CARD.
The system automatically opens the Production Order Report page.
After specifying the necessary details and printing the report, you can view the work in progress for the production order, including information on output, scrapped quantities, and production lead times for each operation. -
To open a different report, select the dropdown, and choose from the following options:
- PRINT MAT. REQUISITION: Access a comprehensive list of material requirements for each production order. The report includes the production order status, the quantities of end items and components needed, and their required quantities.
- PRINT SHORTAGE LIST: View a detailed list of missing quantities for each production order. The report outlines how inventory levels are planned to develop from the current date to the specified end date, including the status of open orders.

PRINT BATCH WORKSHEET: Perform periodic activities where batch jobs handle calculations such as determining the time between batches, adjusting, and calculating unit measures.
The system displays an error if the selected production order is not configured for batch production.
The PRINT BATCH WORKSHEET option is visible only when the Aptean Process Manufacturing and Aptean Reporting extensions are installed.
