Manage the automatic creation of quality control checks

You can configure the system to automatically create a follow-up quality control check when a quality control check fails by configuring the Failure QC Plan and Failure QC Team field values on the associated Quality Control Plan page. For more information, see Set up quality control plans.

The system inherits the configured Failure QC Plan and Failure QC Team field values on the General FastTab and in the Details group on the FactBox of the Quality Control Checks list and Quality Control Check card pages.

When the original quality control check fails and a new one is created, the system automatically inherits the required information and updates the Original Failed QC No. field value on the General FastTab and in the Details group on the FactBox of the newly created quality control check. You can select the field value to view the original quality control check document.
