Integration with Aptean Inspection Status

Quality Control (BC)  •  Article  •  10/22/2025  •

When the Aptean Quality Control (BC) extension is used in conjunction with the Aptean Inspection Status extension, the system provides the ability to update the lot inspection status based on a quality check result.

When you complete a quality control check, a new inspection status is set for the specific item/lot, based on the result.

Follow the below steps to change the inspection status.

  1. Select the Search icon alt text, enter Default Inspection Status, and then choose the related link.
The Default Inspection Status page opens.
  2. On the action bar, select New.
  3. Fill in the required field values.

You can also set up a new inspection status on the Quality Control Plan page.

When configuring quality control triggers with inspection statuses, clear the Per Lot checkbox on the Quality Control Triggers page because inspection statuses are inherently lot-specific, and the system automatically generates quality control checks for each applicable lot.
