You must configure items that require a slaughter date to ensure the tracking requirements are met for the inventory and production processes.

To set up the item, follow these steps:

  1. Open the required Item Card page.
  2. On the Item Tracking FastTab, turn on the Require Slaughter Date toggle to mandate the entry of a slaughter date.
    The slaughter date is entered on the Item Tracking Lines page when assigning lot numbers.

It is mandatory to turn on the Lot Specific Tracking and Create Lot No. Info. on posting toggles on the Item Tracking Code Card page to enter value in the Item Tracking Code field.
