Non Conformance Categories

Non-conformance categories and subcategories are used to categorize a non-conformance. Unlimited non-conformance categories and subcategories can be created.

Examples of categories are:

  • Product Quality
  • Product Safety
  • Packaging

Examples of subcategories for Product Quality are:

  • Smell
  • Taste
  • Color

The non-conformance category can be linked in a non-conformance with or without a non-conformance subcategory.

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Non-Conformance Categories, and then choose the related link.
    The Non-Conformance Categories page opens.
  2. On the action bar, select New to create a new entry.
  3. In the Code field, enter the value.

  4. In the Description field, enter an explanatory text.
    A non-conformance category is now created.

    Add a non-conformance subcategory to the non-conformance category. But, it is not mandatory to add subcategories to a category.

  5. On the Subcategories FastTab, in the Code field, enter the value.
  6. In the Description field, enter an explanatory text.
  7. Click the Back button.
    A non-conformance category with non-conformance subcategories is now set up.
