Inspection tags provide detailed tracking of inspection processes for specific lots. You can create inspection tags, assign inspection status codes, and manage the tag lifecycle from creation through release.

To create an inspection tag from lot information, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Lot No. Information List, and then choose the related link.
The Lot No. Information List page opens.
  2. Select the related lot number to create an inspection tag.
The Lot No. Information Card page opens.
  3. On the action bar, select Related > Inspection Tags.
The Inspection Tag List page opens.
You can also select the Create Inspection Tag action, or navigate via the search icon to open the Inspection Tag page.
  4. On the action bar, select New to create a new inspection tag.
  5. On the General FastTab, enter the required information in the following fields:

The inspection tag is created with New status and is ready for inspection status assignment.

The system aggregates all inspection status codes from all active inspection tags linked to a lot number for comprehensive evaluation.

The system evaluates aggregated inspection status codes across the following inventory operations:

    • Sales pick
    • Sales availability
    • Production consumption pick
    • Production consumption availability
    • Transfer pick
    • Transfer availability
    • Internal movement pick
    • Internal movement availability
  6. Assembly consumption pick
  7. Assembly consumption availability

Lot availability calculations are more accurate, as the system considers all active inspection statuses simultaneously.
