Change the inspection status of lots that need follow-up

Inspection Status  •  Article  •  10/22/2025  •

When the Change Inspection Status for Lots That Need Follow-up action is executed on the Lot No. information Card page, the inspection status is changed for lot numbers for which the next follow-up date has passed. The system creates new inspection tags and assigns the default inspection status code as set up for the trigger type follow-up needed. If you choose to filter on the Inspection Status field when running the report, the system applies the additional filter to lot records that have active tags with the selected inspection status codes before creating the new tags. Once created, the new tags are set to Active. For more details, see Set up default inspection status per trigger type.
