Manage account sale claims

On the Account Sale page, the Claims headline, highlighted in green, represents the overall total Net revenue derived from the underlying claims sections. To obtain detailed information on how the system calculated the total gross or net revenue displayed on the Account Sale page, click on the values within the Claims headline.

Claims include issuing credits or adjusting prices, which modifies the product prices and impacts the revenue generated by the respective purchase orders. For more information, see Understand claims calculation.

The following fields are available on the Account Sale Claims List page:

QuantitySpecifies the originally ordered quantity when creating the source document from which this account sale revenue line originates.
Quantity ReceivedSpecifies the number of units of the item received on the line, as defined in the purchase unit of measure.
Proposed QuantitySpecifies the quantity in the purchase unit of measure that the settlement calculation proposes to be reported to the vendor. The proposed quantity is calculated based on all account sale detail lines of 'Claim' type and Source Document Category Return. It represents the total quantity of items that were returned by customers, defined in the purchase unit of measure.
Proposed Quantity (Base)Specifies the value of the Proposed Quantity field, recalculated to its base unit of measure.
Proposed Quantity (SQU)Specifies the quantity in the settlement quantity unit of measure that the settlement calculation proposes to allocate to the account sale based on all claim transactions with the Type field set to Return linked to this settlement line.
Proposed Quantity (PU)Specifies the quantity in the purchase quantity unit of measure that the settlement calculation proposes to allocate to the account sale based on all claim transactions with the Type field set to Return linked to this settlement line.
Account Sale QuantitySpecifies the quantity measured in the purchase unit of measure to be reported back to the vendor as being claimed/returned. Initially, it is filled with the Proposed Quantity, but it can be manually adjusted.
Account Sale Quantity (Base)Specifies the value of the Account Sale Quantity, recalculated to its base unit of measure.
Account Sale Quantity (SQU)Specifies the quantity in the settlement quantity unit of measure to be reported back to the vendor as claimed or returned. Initially, this value is the same as the Proposed Quantity (SQU) field value, but you can manually change it.
This value determines the Purchase Cost per Unit field value on the Account Sale page.
Account Sale Quantity (PU)Specifies the quantity in the purchase unit of measure to be reported back to the vendor as claimed or returned. Initially, this value is the same as the Proposed Quantity (PU) field value, but you can manually change it.
This value helps in determining the Purchase Cost per Unit field value on the Account Sale page.
Unit of Measure CodeSpecifies the unit of measure as defined on the settlement line.
Proposed Claim Value GrossSpecifies the total gross revenue, calculated by the settlement calculation, for all claim transactions associated with this settlement line. This value is calculated as the sum of the Gross Revenue (Indirect) field of all account sale detail lines with the Type field set to Claim.
Proposed Claim DiscountSpecifies the total discount granted in sales, calculated by the settlement calculation for all claim transactions linked to this settlement line. This value is calculated as the sum of the Discount Value (Indirect) field value of all account sale detail lines with the Type field set to Claim.
Proposed Claim Value NetSpecifies the total net revenue, calculated by the settlement calculation for all claim transactions associated with this settlement line. This value is calculated as the sum of the Net Revenue (Indirect) field value of all account sale detail lines with the Type field set to Claim.
Account Sale Claim Value GrossSpecifies the gross revenue across all claims to be reported back to the vendor. Initially, this value is the same as the Proposed Claim Value Gross field value, but you can manually change it.
This value impacts the Account Sale Net Revenue field value and the calculation of commission values for percentage-based commissions. This value determines the Purchase Invoice Amount (LCY) field value on the Account Sale page.
Account Sale Claim DiscountSpecifies the sales discount value across all claims to be reported back to the vendor. Initially, this value is the same as the Proposed Claim Discount field value, but you can manually change it.
This value impacts the Account Sale Net Revenue field value and the calculation of commission values for percentage-based commissions. This value determines the Purchase Invoice Amount (LCY) field value on the Account Sale page.
Account Sale Claim Value NetSpecifies the net value across all claims to be reported back to the vendor. Initially, this value is the same as the Proposed Claim Value Net field value, but you can manually change it directly or by adjusting the values in the Account Sale Claim Value Gross or Account Sale Claim Discount fields.
Qty. per Settlement Quantity Unit of MeasureSpecifies how many base units of measure quantities are in one settlement quantity unit of the item.
Settlement Quantity Unit of Measure CodeSpecifies the settlement quantity unit of measure applied to the settlement calculation.
Unit of Measure Code (PU)Specifies the purchase unit of measure applied to the settlement calculation.
ModifiedSpecifies whether there have been any changes to the initially Proposed Account Sale Claim Value, Proposed Claim Discount, or Proposed Claim Value Net.
