The daily forecast entries are also created for new customers with no forecast history when a sales line is added for an item with a daily forecasting code and the shipment date is set to the forecast date.

On the action bar, select Actions > Create Daily Forecast Entry to directly add an entry to the Daily Forecast Entries page when the forecast for an item is already determined before creating a sales order. The created daily forecast entry will have the Manually Created checkbox selected. However, the system displays an error message if a daily forecast already exists for the same combination of the entry. This helps you to keep the inventory on time.

When you run the Calculate Daily Forecast action after adding an entry via the Create Daily Forecast action, the system displays a confirmation message verifying whether the manually created entries should be deleted or kept.

The Manually Created checkbox is hidden, and you can view it through personalization.
