Item categories

You can select the item category using the following steps:

1. Select the Search icon , enter Item Categories, and then choose the related link.
   The Item Categories page opens.
2. Select an existing item category for which the batch name should be set up.
3. In the Batch Name field, select a batch name. The selected batch name is associated with the item category in the Item Categories Card page.

The batch name defined for the parent item category is automatically applied to all child items. However, you can edit the batch name for individual child items.
