Setup recurring sales lines for events

Streamlining your event management becomes more convenient when you implement Event Specific Recurring Sales Codes. These codes are designed to simplify the process of organizing events with regular frequencies, such as yearly or monthly during the summer season. By utilizing these codes, you can ensure that the products and loaned items shipped for each event remain consistent across every occurrence, making your overall event coordination more efficient.

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Customers, and then choose the related link.
  2. Select the Customer you want to specify Event Specific Recurring Sales Lines for.
  3. On the Customer Card page, on the action bar select Related > Sales > Recurring Sales Lines.
  4. On the Recurring Sales Lines page, select Event Specific Code.
  5. On the Event Sales Specific Code page, fill in a code for the customers event, like SUMMER in the Standard Code field and a description, like Summer Event in the Standard Sales Code Description field.

    > The Standard Sales Code for Blanket Sales Order Type as Event is added to the Dimensions in the header of the Blanket Sales Order page. The dimensions in the Standard Sales Code are inherited on the Blanket Sales Order page.
  6. Select OK to create the Event Specific Recurring Sales Line.
  7. On the Recurring Sales Line page select the Card action to open the Standard Sales Lines Card page.
  8. On the Standard Sales Lines Card page, select items, or other types, and fill in fields as necessary. Hover over field to read the tool tip.
  9. On the Drink-IT Event Management FastTab, you can:
  10. See that this Standard Sales Lines Card is used for Events.
  11. Enter a DateFormula, like 1D, in the Shipment Before Starting Date and Return After Ending Date fields.
  12. Set up a recurring pattern in the Recurring and Recurring Period fields.
  13. See additional information related to the other fields on the FastTab. Hover over them to read the tooltip.
