The empty goods journal

The empty goods journal is meant to be used for:

  • Migration
  • Adjustments

When the journal is posted, it will create Empty Goods Ledger Entries only, so no posting to the general ledger will be done.

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Empty Goods Journals, and then choose the related link.
  2. Select the relevant journal, and then choose the Edit Journal action.
  3. Fill in the fields as necessary. Hover over a field to read a short description.
  4. On the action bar, select Post to post the journal.
