This exercise will help you to get a better understanding of the Aptean Beverage Empty Goods and Deposit Management extension. The exercise can be performed in the Cronus DIT demo company.

Create a copy of this company to keep your Cronus DIT demo in the original state. In the copy you can do all the exercises that are included in the training.

Exercise 1 - Selling full goods with returnable items

1. Create a sales order for customer 20000
   • Item 1000, 40 CRATE
   • Item 1010 40 CRATE
   • Item 1055 160 TRAY
2. Release the order and expand the lines:
   • Which items have empty goods?
3. Now, sell the same items to customer 80000
   • Which items have empty goods?
   • How can you see?
     • There is a Line Action Empty Goods Amounts
     • You can add EGM fields to the lines by Personalization.
     • Why are there no sales lines inserted?
4. Ship both orders.
   • Check the Empty Goods Ledger Entries for the posted shipments.
   • Print the Empty Goods Statement for customer 20000.
5. Invoice both orders
   • Check the Empty Goods ledger Entries for the posted invoices.
6. Check the Empty Goods Balance FactBox on the Customer Cards.
7. Print the Empty Goods Statement until work date.

Question: Why do we have two empty goods ledger entries for one empty goods item?
