Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean E-Commerce extension,

  • You can easily obtain official Business Central invoices for previous orders directly from the Order History page. This allows you to receive a PDF copy of your invoice via email without needing to contact customer service. To know more, see View order history.

  • The system checks whether an order already exists for the same ship-to address and delivery date when creating a new order. If such an order exists, a confirmation message appears to help you avoid creating duplicate orders. To know more, see Place a new order.

  • The system displays clear indicators and messages for catch weight items throughout your shopping experience, from browsing products to completing checkout.

  • The e-commerce portal supports installation as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on mobile and tablet devices. You can add the portal to the home screen, launch it in full-screen mode, and access all key features, such as product search, cart, checkout, account details, and order history, through a seamless mobile experience.

UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

  • The Email Invoice field has been added to the Order History page.
  • The Upload new logo (PWA) field has been added to the Site Configuration page.
  • The Information icon has been added to the price of all catch weight items throughout the e-commerce portal.

Resolved issues

The following issues have been resolved in this release.
