Access the dynamic comments FastTab

You can configure comment codes with descriptions so that when a customer is associated with those comments, they automatically appear on all relevant pages.
You can view and manage dynamic comments directly from the Dynamic Comments FastTab on the following pages:
- Sales Order
- Sales Credit Memo
- Sales Invoice
- Sales Order Archive
- Sales Quote
- Sales Quote Archive
- Sales Return Order
- Sales Return Order Archive
- Simulated Production Order
- Transfer Order
On the Dynamic Comments FastTab, enter the required information in the following fields:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Table Name | Specifies the value selected in the Table ID field on the Dynamic Comment page. |
| Source No. | Specifies the source document number inherited from the Dynamic Comment page. |
| Description | Specifies the description of the comments which are inherited from the Dynamic Comment page. |
| Comment Text | Specifies the comments. You can enter or edit the comment. If the Is Rich Text checkbox on the Dynamic Comment page is selected, you can apply rich text formatting in the comments. |
| Is Rich Text | Specifies whether rich text formatting is applied to the comment on the Dynamic Comment page. |
For example, when you select an item with dynamic comments on the Lines FastTab of the Sales Order page,
- The system notifies you about the comments, if it is a critical comment you can navigate to the Dynamic Comment page.
- All associated comments are inherited and displayed on the Dynamic Comments FastTab. These comments automatically appear across all associated sales documents.
