Post shipments and invoices

You can post shipments and invoices that are associated with the cashier deposit using job queues.

Shipments

The system posts the shipments of the sales orders under the following conditions:

  • The Transaction Posts Shipment toggle is turned on the Cashier Setup page.
  • The relevant cashier transaction is posted.
  • The cashier transaction source lines that include the prepayment invoices associated with the sales order are considered for posting shipments.
  • Sales orders that are associated with the simple locations are considered.

To set up the job queue for posting shipments, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Job Queue Entries, and then choose the related link.

    The Job Queue Entries page opens.
  2. Select the required Object ID to Run (71813439) for posting the shipments.

    The Job Queue Entry Card page opens.
  3. Fill in the required fields to schedule the job queue. For more information, see Use job queues to schedule tasks.

Once it is posted, the sales order is filled with the relevant value in the Qty. to Ship field.

Invoices

The system posts the invoices of the sales orders under the following conditions:

  • The Transaction Posts Invoices toggle is turned on the Cashier Setup page.
  • The relevant cashier transaction is posted.
  • The cashier transaction source lines that include the prepayment invoices associated with the sales order are considered for posting invoices.
  • Sales orders that are associated with the simple locations are considered.
  • Prepayment invoices that are associated with the sales orders and also shipped are considered.

To set up the job queue for posting invoices, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Job Queue Entries, and then choose the related link.

    The Job Queue Entries page opens.
  2. Select the required Object ID to Run (71813440) for posting the invoices.

    The Job Queue Entry Card page opens.
  3. Fill in the required fields to schedule the job queue. For more information, see Use job queues to schedule tasks.

The relevant invoices are successfully posted.
