For the EMCS phase 4.2, the EMCS version is updated to EMCS:PHASE4:IEXXX:V3.23, which works similarly for all the incoming and outgoing messages. The system processes the incoming data according to the structure for the selected version.
-
You can use the Independent Small Procedures Declaration field on the Item Card page to store a predefined declaration text for items that require a small producers declaration in EMCS messages. This declaration is used when generating the IE815 message, ensuring that the correct extended text is automatically included based on the item setup.
-
You can view the Import Customs Declaration Number field value on the Customs Document page. This declaration number is used when generating the IE815 or filled up when receiving the IE801 message for incoming goods.
-
You can view the EMCS Phase and Country/Region Code field values on the Customs Document Mgt. Test Message page for each incoming and outgoing message. The system creates a predefined XML structure that matches the selected version and country.
