Enhancements/Modifications

With this release of the Aptean Beverage Customs Document Management extension, Drink-IT Edition,

  • The system supports configurable validation for first transporter details in IE815 EMCS messages. You can turn on the First Transporter Optional toggle on the Customs Document Mgt. Connector Setup page to allow companies to decide whether fields in the First Transporter group on the Customs Document page must be configured before generating an IE815 message.
    This enhancement enables correct behavior for countries such as the Netherlands, where first transporter information is optional, while still supporting mandatory validation for countries like Belgium. When the First Transporter Optional toggle is turned on, IE815 messages can be created even when the first transporter fields are empty. When the toggle is turned off, the first transporter fields remain required, retaining the original validation rules.
    This enhancement addresses the issue reported in bug ID #326451.

  • The system supports automated retrieval of EMCS messages through a configurable batch process. You can set up a scheduled EMCS job queue on the Assisted Setup page that automatically checks for and imports EMCS messages at defined intervals. The system then creates and manages the required job queue entry, allowing EMCS messages to be processed consistently in the background while keeping the manual option available.
    This enhancement addresses the issue reported in bug ID #326450.

UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

  • The First Transporter Optional toggle has been added to the Customs Document Mgt. Connector Setup page.
  • The Set Up EMCS Job Queue title has been added to the Assisted Setup page.

Resolved issues

The following issues have been resolved in this release.
