Manage deletion

If you attempt to delete a sales order, sales order lines, or item tracking lines, the system displays a confirmation message notifying you that it was created from a buffer order. Based on the status of the related buffer order, the system performs one of the following actions:

  • If the status of the buffer order is Active, the item quantities are reassigned to the buffer order. The system updates the Qty. on Sales Order (Base) and Outstanding Qty. field values on the Buffer Order page.
  • If the status of the buffer order is Closed, you cannot delete the sales order, sales order lines, or item tracking lines.
