Integration with Aptean Inventory Worksheet

You can integrate the Aptean Advanced Warehouse Management extension, Drink-IT Edition, with the Aptean Inventory Worksheet extension to create inventory records using license plate numbers.

Create inventory records using license plate numbers

You can streamline inventory management by directly associating license plates with inventory records according to the feature control settings, ensuring accuracy in warehouse operations.

Make sure to configure the required application on the Feature Control page. For more information, see Set up feature control.

Follow these steps to manage license plate details and process records on the Inventory Worksheet page.

  1. Open the Inventory Worksheet page.
  2. Fill in the required field values.
  3. In the License Plate No. field, enter the required license plate number based on the application enabled on the Feature Control page. If no application is enabled, the system will display the Package No. field value with the standard packaging number from Business Central.
  4. In the License Plate Type field, select the required code from the lookup list. For more information, see Setting up license plate types.

    If the Aptean License Plating for Food and Beverage application name is enabled on the Feature Control page, this field name is displayed as Shipping Container.
  5. On the action bar, select Validate Data.

    The system checks the line record and shows errors if any fields contain incorrect or empty values.
  6. On the action bar, select Process Records.

    The Process Records dialog opens.
  7. Turn on the Move to Item Journal or Move and Post the Item Journal toggle, based on your requirements.

After posting the item journal with the necessary inventory and license plate records, you can view the entry on the Detailed Warehouse Entries page.
