Integration with Aptean Inventory Overview
You can integrate the Aptean Advanced Warehouse Management extension, Drink-IT Edition, with the Aptean Inventory Overview extension for streamlined access to inventory data.
Use license plate filter in inventory overview
You can effectively manage and filter inventory using license plates. Follow the steps below to filter inventory data by license plates and apply the license plate filter according to the feature control settings.
Set up feature control
Ensure that the Aptean Beverage Advanced Warehouse Management for Drink-IT Edition and Aptean License Plating for Food and Beverage application names are configured with the required settings on the Feature Control page. For more information, see Overview of the feature control page.
If the Aptean Beverage Advanced Warehouse Management for Drink-IT Edition application name is enabled, the system displays the license plate numbers associated with the Aptean Beverage Advanced Warehouse Management extension.
If the Aptean License Plating for Food and Beverage application name is enabled, the system displays the license plate numbers associated with the Aptean License Plating extension.
If neither of the applications is enabled, the system uses the standard packaging number in the Package No. field from Business Central.
Follow these steps to filter and view relevant license plate records on the Inventory Overview page.
- Open the Inventory Overview page.
- Fill in the required field values.
- On the General FastTab, in the License Plate No. Filter field, select or enter the required number to filter the license plate number(s). You can also select multiple records.
The available options on the License plate list lookup page display the license plate number records based on the application name enabled on the Feature Control page. - On the action bar, select Refresh Overview.
The system refreshes the page and displays the relevant records based on the applied filters. The records with the Quantity field value of zero are not displayed.
The system displays the License Plate No. Filter and License Plate No. field names on the Inventory Overview page only when the Feature Control page is configured with the application names.
