Walkthrough: Item Info

Item information does not need to be installed as a module in Business Central. It is a standard OWM function to be access from different places.

Required documents to scan:

On the scanner

  1. Open the OWM 6 App on the scanner and login to Location SILVER_OWM, OWM Silver Warehouse London - Bonded and Tax Paid bins.
  2. Scan an Item GTIN, one of the item information barcodes in the SILVER-OWM-Inventory.
    This opens a list with the total quantity on stock and the quantities per bin for the scanned item.
  3. Close the list.

This page can also be reached from within the item list line.

  1. Select the group Internal.
  2. Select the Module License Plate Info, this opens the document list.
  3. Scan License Plate No. 4 0010000 000000406 7, first license plate no. of the second page in the SILVER-OWM-Inventory.
    This opens the item list on the scanned License Plate No.
    All the information of the license plate and its content is shown.
  4. Select the Line Menu.
    The line opens up.
  5. Select the Info action.

This Info action only works on Item List Lines containing the item no. below the quantity, to the left of the Item Description.

  1. Close the list.
  2. Close the Item List.
  3. Close the document List.
