Translation of AIP events

The AIP Translations page is used to manage the mapping of Product Id field values to their corresponding AIP Value field values. This page ensures seamless integration between Business Central and other platforms by translating internal Business Central data into formats or identifiers required by the integrated systems.

  1. Select the Search icon , enter AIP Translations, and then choose the related link.
    Alternatively, you can open the AIP Translations page from the AIP Connection Setup page by selecting the Translation action or from the source document (customer/vendor/sales order/transport request) page (Related > AIP Connector > Translations).

  2. Enter the required information in the following fields:

    Source TypeSpecifies the ID associated with the event source type.
    Source Type NameSpecifies the type of the source from which the event is created. For example, vendor, customer, location.
    Source System IdSpecifies the ID generated for the event on the source system. For example, Business Central or other integrated platforms.
    Source System NameSpecifies the name of the source document that generated the selected event on the source system.
    Product IdSpecifies the ID of the AIP product.
    Product NameSpecifies the name of the AIP product.
    AIP ValueSpecifies the ID assigned for the selected product ID as translated value. By default, this is automatically filled with the Source System ID field value. However, you can manually update it.
