Web Services for attributes

Web services are a lightweight way to make application functionality available to a variety of external systems and users. It is possible to set up web services for the following Attributes: Item Attributes, Customer Attributes, Vendor Attributes, and Lot Attributes. The following procedure describes how to setup web services for item attributes.

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Web services and then choose the related link.
    The Web Services list page opens.
  2. Select New.
    The system displays a new row.

  3. On the Object Type field, select Query from the dropdown.

  4. On the Object ID field, click Select from full list.
    The Select - Objects page opens.
  5. On the Select- Objects page, Select Item Attributes,and click OK.

  6. Enter the Service Name on the Web Services page.

  7. Select the Published checkbox.
    The system registers the activity.
