Retrieve the ERP Sync Configuration Data from Aptean CRM

Use the Retrieve ERP Sync Configuration feature to fetch the sync configuration setup from the Aptean CRM application and load it in the Business Central (BC) solution.

The sync configuration setup includes fields related to contacts, companies, sales history transactions, AR Aging details, and the direction in which the field values must sync.

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Aptean CRM Int. Table Mapping List and then choose the related link.

  2. On the action bar, select Process > Retrieve ERP Sync Configuration.
    The sync configuration is retrieved in Business Central depending upon the directions set for each field in the Aptean CRM application. The sync directions are as follows:

    • None: The values of the specified contact or company detail fields do not sync between BC and the Aptean CRM application.
    • CRM To ERP: The values of the fields specified in the Aptean CRM application are fetched into BC.
    • ERP To CRM: The values of the selected fields in BC are sent into the Aptean CRM application.
    • Two Way: A bidirectional sync. Any changes made to the field values in BC are updated to the corresponding fields in the Aptean CRM application. Similarly, the changes made to the field values in the Aptean CRM application are updated to the corresponding fields in BC.
      Currently, the Aptean CRM BC Connector supports the following synchronization directions:
    • Two Way, CRM To ERP and ERP To CRM – For Contacts and Companies
    • ERP To CRM – For Sales Orders, Posted Sales Invoices, Posted Sales Credit Memos, and Accounts Receivable Aging

You can view the sync direction details in the Aptean CRM Int. Field Mapping List page in the Direction field (On the action bar, Mapping > Fields).

On the Aptean CRM Int. Field Mapping List page, you can view the complete list of field names whose values can be synchronized between Business Central and the Aptean CRM application.

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Aptean CRM Int. Table Mapping List and then choose the related link.

  2. In the Name field, select an integration table mapping entry and the related table name to view its fields whose values can synchronize with the Aptean CRM application:
    • ARAGING: Aptean CRM AR Aging Details
    • COMPANY: Contact
    • CONTACT: Contact
    • SALESCREDITMEMO: Sales Cr.Memo Header table
    • SALESINVOICE: Sales Invoice Header
    • SALESORDER: Sales Header
  3. On the action bar, select Mapping > Fields.
    The Aptean CRM Int. Field Mapping List page opens.

You can see the list of the CRM field names and their corresponding field names in BC, whose values can be synchronized with the Aptean CRM application based on the sync direction set.
The parent fields appear in boldface, and the child fields appear in regular style in the list.
