Introduction

The primary goal of the Aptean Weigh Scale extension is to provide seamless integration to measure the documents associated with receipt and shipment processes using the scales we have set up in the Aptean Scale Integration extension. The Aptean Weigh Scale extension is designed to work in conjunction with Aptean Scale Integration extension.

In this environment, users have the flexibility to use their preferred system of measurement for both warehouse receipt and shipment documents. Furthermore, this extension aims to streamline registering the log entries generated by executing the Get Weight function in the Aptean Scale Integration extension. This eliminates the need for manual registration, and minimizes errors.

The Weigh Scale extension enables businesses to assign a preferred system of measurements as default to specific locations and directly retrieve measurements from electronic scales into Business Central.
