Walkthrough: Move items in a directed location
In our company we use a location with Directed Put-Away and Pick.
And in the WMS App we use the Whse. Bulk Movement to register the movements.
Required documents to scan:
Create a movement
- Select the Search icon
, enter Movement Worksheet and then choose the related link. - Select the Name DEFAULT, linked to the Location WHITE_WMS.
- Select the Calculate Bin Replenishment action.
- Enter 1512 in the Item No. field.
- Choose OK.
- Select all lines.
- Select the Create Movement action.
- Choose OK.
- Close all pages.
Process the Warehouse Movement
- Open the WMS App on the scanner and login to Location WHITE_WMS, WMS White Warehouse London - Bonded and Tax Paid bins.
- Select the group Internal.
- Select the Whse. Bulk Movement module, this opens the document list.
- Select the first line, this opens the item list.
- Scan License Plate No. 4 0010000 000000173 8.
The License Plate is now selected, not moved. The Modus is changed to Place.
- Scan WO-TIER-04.
The License Plate is now moved from the take Bin to the place bin and the Modus is changed to Take.
The movement is registered, to verify the warehouse movements, check the Warehouse Entries and the Detailed Warehouse Entries.
- Scan License Plate No. 4 0010000 000000174 5.
The License Plate is now selected, not moved. The Modus is changed to Place.
- Scan WO-MIX-18 instead of the WO-TIER-04, where you should place the the License Plate.
An Error Message appears, because, in a directed location, you are not allowed to place the License Plate anywhere else, except in the designated place bin. For the same reason you are not allowed to take multiple License Plates and/or items together.
- Scan WO-TIER-04.
The License Plate is now moved from the take Bin to the place bin and the Modus is changed to Take.
- Repeat scanning License Plates and the correct bins, until the Warehouse Movement is empty.
- Choose Complete, Yes, to finish the Warehouse Movement.
- Close the document list.
