Enabling the weighbridge feature

You can ensure the activation or deactivation of the weighbridge feature for different documents like Purchase Orders, or Warehouse Receipts, according to their requirement from the location card. This is accomplished by the Weighbridge Enabled toggle on the Location Card page.

1. Select the Search icon , enter Locations, and then choose the related link.
   The Locations list page opens.
2. Select the desired Code.
   The Location Card page opens.
3. On the Warehouse FastTab, turn on/off the Weighbridge Enabled toggle to activate or deactivate the weighbridge feature on any location.
   You cannot turn on the Weighbridge Enabled toggle if Weighbridge Base UOM and Ticket Nos. fields on the Weighbridge Setup page are left blank.

Weighbridge Enabled field on Purchase Order/Warehouse Receipt

The weighbridge feature can be activated from the respective document pages for the items in the purchase order or warehouse receipt document. This is accomplished by adding the Weighbridge Enabled toggle on the purchase order or warehouse receipt page.

1. Select the Search icon , enter Purchase Orders, and then choose the related link.
   The Purchase Orders list page opens.

   Note

   The following procedure is based on a Purchase Order. The steps are similar for the Warehouse Receipts page.

2. Select the desired No.
3. On the General FastTab, turn on/off the Weighbridge Enabled toggle to activate or deactivate the weighbridge feature.
   You cannot turn on the Weighbridge Enabled toggle on the Purchase Order page if the Weighbridge Enabled toggle is turned off on the Location Card page. However, vice versa is possible.
   You cannot change the value in Item No. and Quantity fields on the Lines FastTab of the Purchase Order page when a Weighbridge Ticket is associated. Also, you cannot insert a new line in the Purchase Order.
   You cannot delete the Purchase Order when it is associated with a Weighbridge Ticket.
