With the features added in this release of the Aptean Ultimate Consignee extension, you can:
- Set up the addresses of consignees for the system to display in sales documents. For more information, see Set up ultimate consignees.
- Define consignee addresses on a customer level or link ship-to addresses with consignee addresses. For more information, see Define ultimate consignee addresses for customers.
- If you have the the Aptean EDI extension installed, you can link the GLN (Global Location Number) code to a customer and a ship-to address. Upon processing EDI messages with the GLN code, the system automatically inherits the consignee address details in the sales order created. For more information, see Link GLN codes to ultimate consignee for customers.
- Select and view the consignee address details based on the customer and the ship-to address selected in sales documents. For more information, see Select and view ultimate consignee details on sales documents.
- Manage scenarios where the system inherits consignee address details differently. For more information, see Unique scenarios.
