Vehicles
The Vehicle Card page provides a comprehensive overview of all vehicle-related aspects, allowing you to access and manage essential information related to vehicles in your organization.
To create a vehicle record
- Select the Search icon
, enter Vehicles, and then choose the related link.
The Vehicles list page opens.
NoteOn the Vehicles list page, you can edit the existing vehicle records by selecting Edit List on the action bar.
On the action bar, click New to create a vehicle record.
Or
Select the required No. to open the relevant vehicle record.
The Vehicle Card page opens.On the General FastTab, fill in the fields as follows:
| Field | Description |

| Code | Enter the code that identifies the vehicle. |
| Description | Enter the name of the vehicle. |
| Type | Select the type of vehicle for which you want to create the record. The available options are Cab, Trailer, Van, Straight Truck, Chassis, Container, or Car. |
| Reference Number | Enter the reference number that can be used as an additional identifier for tracking the vehicle. |
| License Plate | Enter the license plate for the vehicle, which is a distinct combination of letters, numbers, and possibly special characters issued by the government to uniquely identify the vehicle. |
| License Country/Region | Select the code of the country or region where the vehicle’s license plate is registered. |
| License State | Enter the name of the state where the license plate for the vehicle is registered. |
| VIN | Enter the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) for the vehicle, which serves as a unique alphanumeric code for identifying the vehicle and its characteristics. |
| Weight Capacity | Enter the maximum weight that the vehicle can safely carry, including the weight of the goods being transported. Modifying this value, even after assigning the vehicle to the transport order, will be considered, leading to adjusting the calculations on the existing relevant transport orders based on the modified value. |
| Volume Capacity | Enter the maximum interior space available in the vehicle for carrying goods or cargo. Modifying this value, even after assigning the vehicle to the transport order, will be considered, leading to adjusting the calculations on the existing relevant transport orders based on the modified value. |
| Unload Left Side | Turn on the toggle if the goods can be unloaded from the left side of the vehicle. |
| Unload Right Side | Turn on the toggle if the goods can be unloaded from the right side of the vehicle. |
| Unload Back Side | Turn on the toggle if the goods can be unloaded from the back side of the vehicle. |
- On the action bar, select Actions > Floor Space Capacity to configure the capacity of the vehicle using the floor space type. For more information, see Vehicle Floor Space Capacities.
