Drivers
The Driver Card page provides a comprehensive overview of drivers, allowing you to access and manage essential information related to drivers, including driver profiles and licensing details, within your organization.
To create a driver record
- Select the Search icon
, enter Drivers, and then choose the related link.
The Drivers list page opens. - On the action bar, click New to create a driver record.

Select the required No. to open the relevant driver record. - On the General FastTab, fill in the fields as follows:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| No. | Specifies the number of the driver that is assigned based on the number series selected on the Transport Setup page. |
| Employee No. | Select the number of the employee for whom you want to create the driver record. |
| Full Name | Specifies the driver’s full name, including all first, middle, and last names. |
- On the Personal Information FastTab, fill in the field as follows:

| First Name | Enter the first name of the driver. |
| Middle Name | Enter the middle name of the driver. |
| Last Name | Enter the last name of the driver. |
| Phone No. | Enter the contact phone number of the driver. |
NoteThe values in the above fields are automatically inherited from the selected employee. You can modify these values even after it is inherited.
- On the License FastTab, fill in the field as follows:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| License No. | Enter the license number of the driver. |
| License Issue Date | Select the date when the driver’s license was issued. |
| License Expiration Date | Select the date when the driver’s license will expire. The selected date must be later than the License Issue Date. You cannot select a date that has already passed or a date that matches the work date. |
| License Country/Region | Select the code of the country or region where the driver’s license was issued. |
| License State | Enter the name of the state where the driver’s license was issued. This field is visible only when the selected License Country/Region is set as United States (US). |
| Commercial License Class | Select the class of the driver’s license, based on the type of commercial vehicles they are qualified to operate. |
Driver Details FactBox
You can view the Driver Details FactBox which provides insights into key aspects of the driver-related information.
The Driver Details FactBox displays the following details:

| Driver No. | Specifies the number of the driver assigned for the transportation. |
| Driver’s Full Name | Specifies the driver’s full name, including all first, middle, and last names. |
| License Expiration Date | Specifies the date when the driver’s license will expire. |
| License Status | Specifies the status of the license whether it is Valid, Expired, or Expires Today. |
