Create and manage transport order via sales order processing

Integrating transport orders with sales orders streamlines the fulfillment process, reducing errors and enhancing efficiency. This improves visibility, lowers costs, and boosts customer satisfaction and profitability.
With this feature, you can create and manage transport order via sales order processing. The following procedure describes how to perform this activity.

1. Select the Search icon , enter Sales Orders, and then choose the related link.
   The Sales Orders list page opens.
2. Select the preferred No.
   The Sales Order card page opens.
3. On the Shipping and Billing FastTab, verify the field values in the Shipment Method group.
4. On the action bar, select Home > Release > Release.
   The sales order is released.
5. On the action bar, select Related > Order > Other > Transport Requests.
   The Transport Requests page opens.
   You can view the transport request that has been generated for the defined sales order.
6. Select the Search icon , enter Transport Planning, and then choose the related link.
   The Transport Planning page opens.
7. Select the preferred entry.
8. On the action bar, select Create Transport Order.
   The Create Transport Order page opens.
9. On the Options FastTab, configure the relevant field values and click OK.
   The system redirects you to the associated transport order.
   On the Transport Order page, you can view the entries on the Transport Cost FastTab for the associated sales order.
