Changes made to transport route

When active route assignments exist for a Transport Route and you make changes to the Starting Date and/or Ending Date, the system displays a message asking whether you want to continue with the change. On confirmation, the system makes the same changes to the active route assignments for the customer.

If the date change affects the route assignment so that it isn’t valid anymore e.g., the dates don’t fall in the range, the assignment is deleted.

When a Shipment Day is removed from the route version, the system removes the same from the assignment.

Note

If the removed Shipment Day is the only weekday the version runs on, the system deletes the entire assignment.

When a Transport Route is deleted, the system deletes the Transport Route Details and any related route assignments.
