Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean TLx Integration Connector,

You can define when to send sales orders or purchase orders manually to TLx by using the Sales Order or Purchase Order field, either only after release or when the orders are open and released. To know more, see Set up TLx with Business Central.

The system uses the TLx unit of measure when sending the request to TLx if you define a value in the TLX Unit of Measure field on the associated Item Card page. Otherwise, it uses the unit of measure specified in the related order.

The Schedule Shipment API has been enhanced to accept all shipment details in a JSON payload from TLx into Business Central. It supports existing fields as well as trailer numbers, seal numbers, scheduled ship date, and custom fields. The system considers custom fields as additive. It retains existing values unless you update them and automatically adds any new fields. However, the old API calls continue to work.

You can view additional shipment details in the TLx Trailer Number, TLx Seal Number, and TLx Scheduled Ship Date fields on the Sales Order, Purchase Order, Posted Sales Invoice, and Posted Purchase Invoice pages. You can also view the custom fields in the TLx Shipment Map Values FactBox that are defined and sent from TLx. These fields can vary and their values remain blank if they are not available in TLx. You can also view this information on the TLx Log Details and TLx Shipment Map pages.

You can view the key values associated with the TLx shipment by executing the TLx Shipment Map Values action on the TLx Shipment Map page.

The system tracks whether a sales order is new or already sent to TLx by checking the type of endpoint used. To know more, see Send the order to TLx on release.

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

The TLx Shipment Map Values action has been added to the TLx Shipment Map page.
The Sent to TLX toggle has been added to the TLx Details FastTab of the Sales Order and Purchase Order pages.
The TLx Shipment Map Values FactBox has been added to the Sales Order and Purchase Order pages.
The Send to TLx on Release group on the General FastTab of the TLx Setup page has been renamed as Automatic Send to TLx on Release.
The Sales Order and Purchase Order fields have been added to the Manual Send to TLx group of the TLx Setup page.
The TLx Unit of Measure field has been added to the Item FastTab on the Item Card page.
The TLx Trailer Number, TLx Seal Number, and TLx Scheduled Ship Date fields have been added to the TLx Details FastTab of the Sales Order and Purchase Order pages.
The trailerNumber, sealNumber, shipmentShipDate and custom fields have been added to the TLx Log Details page.
The Trailer Number, Seal Number, and Scheduled Ship Date fields have been added to the TLx Shipment Map page.
