Setting up tax values

Tax Values are used to determine the calculation of taxes. This can be done for Items, Customers, Vendors and Locations. Tax Values can be used in Formula’s. Examples:

• ABV - Alcohol by Volume
• DPL - Degrees Plato
• QTY - Quantity per Base UOM
• SPR - Sales Price
• VOL - Volume
• WGT - Weight

To create a tax value

1. Select the Search icon , enter Tax Values, and then choose the related link.
2. Fill in the fields on the line as necessary. Hover over a field to read a short description.
