Setting up tax codes

Create Tax Codes for each Tax Type that Aptean Beverage should support. Examples:

• Beer Excise
• Wine Excise
• Alcohol Excise
• ECO Tax
• Packaging Tax

To create a new tax card

1. Select the Search icon , enter Taxes, and then choose the related link.
2. On the Taxes page, choose the New action.
3. Proceed to fill fields on the tax card as necessary. Hover over a field to read a short description.

To be able to calculate taxes, each tax code need to be setup with:

• Tax rates
• Tax formula
• Tax classifications
• Tax values
• Tax rules
