Dates in tax calculations
Tax rates are set up with a starting and ending date. The date fields that refers to these dates depend to document types:

| Sales Documents | The shipment date in the document line. |
| Purchase Documents | The expected receipt date in the document line. |
| Transfer Orders | The shipment date in the document line. |
| Assembly Order | The posting date in the assembly header. |
| Item Journal | The posting date in the journal line. |
| Item Reclassification Journal | The posting date in the journal line. |
| Production Journals Journal | The posting date in the journal line. |
