Enhancements/Modifications

With this release of the Aptean Beverage Tax Management extension, Drink-IT Edition, the system automatically assigns a destination bin when creating a warehouse put-away for transfer receipts at directed put-away and pick locations.

This enhancement ensures that the Bin Code field value on the Warehouse Put-away page is populated based on the bin, bin contents, and location setups. It streamlines warehouse operations by reducing manual steps during the put-away process, while allowing you to modify the destination bin if needed.

To ensure correct bin assignment, verify the following setups:

On the Bins page, review your zone codes and bin rankings.
On the Bin Contents page, set appropriate values for fixed, preferred, or default bins.
On the Location Card page, ensure that the bin policies are correctly defined.
If using a put-away template, confirm the template setup is accurate.

If the destination bin is not defined for the item in bin contents, the system does not assign a bin automatically, and the Bin Code field value remains blank on the Warehouse Put-away page.

Resolved issues

The following issues have been resolved in this release.
