Track and record production failure

You can now track and record information about production failures in a manufacturing or production environment. It helps you to track the failure codes and reason for failure when setting the status to Failure and when production resumes after a failure. To achieve this, turn on the Show in Shop Floor toggle on the associated Released Production Order page.

When you change the status from failure to another, the What is the Cause of the Failure? dialog opens. In the Failure Code field, you can select the available failure codes from the dropdown. Only failure codes marked as active on the Shop Floor Production Failure Code page in Business Central appears in the Failure Code field. In the Remarks field, you can enter the reason for the failure of the order.
