Set up users per work center

To register input and output in the Shop Floor Production, the work centers must be visible. You can specify whether a Work Center should be visible in the Shop Floor Production, on a per-Work Center basis.

When using machine centers, the machine center follows the setting of the linked work center.

Furthermore, only users who have been assigned to a Work Center can access it within the app.

You can assign a user to a work center directly from the Work Center Card page via Shop Floor Users action.

1. Select the Search icon , enter Work Centers, and then choose the related link.
   The Work Centers list page opens.

2. Select the desired No.
   The Work Center Card page opens.
   The Active toggle automatically inherits the value based on the Status toggle on the Work Centers list page associated with the Shop Floor Production page.

3. On the action bar, select Work Center > Shop Floor Users.
   The Shop Floor Users list page for the selected work center opens.

4. In the User field, enter or select the desired user ID.
   The Work Center No. field is automatically populated with the respective work center.
   The user is now assigned to the work center. You can view the list of all the work centers and assigned users on the Shop Floor Users list page when opened through the tell me function.
   On the Posting FastTab, if the Unit Cost Calculation field is set to Time, both the direct and indirect costs from the work center will not be posted, and no capacity ledger entry will be created

   Note

   When a work center is deleted, all the users linked to the respective work center also gets deleted.

   The number of Shop Floor Production users cannot be more than the quantity of subscriptions on the Subscription Overview page.
