Migrate from Aptean Shop Floor Production Power App

You can smoothly transition from the current Shop Floor Production Power App to the new Shop Floor Production (BC).

Before you migrate, we suggest that you complete all production orders and disable the work centers in the Shop Floor Production Power App. The following procedure outlines the migration process.

1. Select the Search icon , enter Shop Floor Production Setup, and then choose the related link.
   The Shop Floor Production Setup page opens.

2. On the settings icon, select Personalize.

3. Search for Enable SFP in BC toggle, drag and drop it on the page.
   This toggle is editable when:

   • The status of all the production orders in the Shop Floor Production Power App has the status of Finished.
   • All work centers are stopped, ensuring that the required quality checks are created.
   • The Aptean Quality Control Power App is installed and integrated instead of the Aptean Quality Control (BC).

     Note

     It is suggested that the Aptean Quality Control (BC) is installed as Quality Control (Power App) is not supported with this version of Shop Floor Production (BC).

   • There are unposted entries on the Aptean Shop Floor Production Time Entries page.

When you install the Aptean Shop Floor Production (BC), you cannot migrate back to the Aptean Shop Floor Production Power App. Additionally, you cannot use Aptean Quality Control Power App, instead you can use only the Aptean Quality Control (BC).

Once enabled, the system will transfer user information from the Office365 User table to the Shop Floor Users table. However, work instructions from SharePoint will not be transferred and must be migrated manually.
