This table provides a comprehensive overview of common errors encountered in the Aptean Shop Floor Production extension and effective solutions to resolve them.

You cannot see a work center in the Power App.This may occur if you are not linked to a work center. To fix this, open the work center in Business Central and link the shop floor user to the work center.
You can see a work center, but no production orders are shown, but production orders are present in Business Central.Check the following: Date Formula Show Prod. Orders field on the Shop Floor Production Setup page in Business Central: only production orders will be shown up to work date + date formula. Production order has Released status. Shop Floor Production license is enabled in Business Central.
The item is lot tracked but you can’t enter a Lot Number in the Output Registration.The Routing Line with the work center is not the last line of the Production Order Routing. You can still enter a quantity, but this quantity doesn’t change the inventory and is only registered in the Capacity Entry.
Entries of Type Time in Shop Floor Registration Entries in Business Central are not processed.Run the Post Shop Floor Production Time report by turning on the Post Shop Floor Production Registration Entries toggle to retry posting capacity for the Time registered via Output Journal.
Entries of Type Time in Shop Floor Registration Entries in Business Central are in Error state.The Item Journal Line is created and moved into the Error Journal, resolve the error and post the Error Item Journal Lines. When the Item Journal Line is not created, resolve the error and change the status to Not Processed for the Shop Floor Production Registration Entry via Actions and run the Post Shop Floor Production Time Entries by turning on the Post Shop Floor Production Registration Entries toggle to retry posting capacity for the Time registered via Output Journal.
You receive a notification, GetSalesCommentLines failed while opening a production orderInstall the Aptean Advanced Comments extension and turn on the Allow HttpClient Requests toggle on the respective Extension Settings page.
