Default Output Quantity

Output registration is often done in the same quantities. For example, in a factory producing orange juice, each box contains 10 bottles. To accommodate such scenarios, you can set up the default output quantity in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and use it in the Shop Floor Production Power App.

Setup

The following steps outline the setup for the default output quantity.

1. Select the Search icon , enter Items, and then choose the related link.
   The Items list page opens.
2. Select an item.
   The Item card page opens.
3. On the Replenishment FastTab, in the Default Output Quantity field, enter the default output quantity.
   The default output quantity is set.

Output registration

The following steps outline the output registration process in the Shop Floor Production Power App.

1. Select Orders.
2. Select a relevant production order.
3. Select the Output button.
   View the output item details.
4. Select the Register output button.
   In the Lot no. field, the system fills the default output quantity. However, you can change it if required.
5. Select the Save button.
   The output registration is complete.
