Co-Product

If during the production of an output item also output of a co-product(s) is expected, this(these) co-product item(s) can be set up within the Process Manufacturing extension. When co-product items are available on a Bill Of Materials it should be possible to register the component(s) for this(these) co-product item(s) in the Shop Floor Production Power App.

1. Select the Orders option.
2. Select the desired Production Order no.
3. Select the Input button. View the co-product specification.
   A co-product is an item that gets produced along with the main Output item but isn’t a mandatory Output item. You can register the co-product if necessary.
4. Select the Back icon.
5. Select the Output button.
   You can view the co-products as separate output items. The output registration is done by selecting the co-product or switching the item on the Output Registration page.

Upon registering a co-product, it can also be seen in Business Central.
