You can print the records of the output item by installing the Aptean Labeling extension.

  1. Open the Quick Production Entry page.
  2. On the action bar, select Post > Post and Print Label(s).

The item labels are printed for the posted Output.

Note

You cannot print the labels if the Qty. to Output is zero or negative while posting the Quick Production Entry.

Ensure a few standard setups are done before printing the labels on the Quick Production Entry page. The following table describes a sequence of tasks, with links to the articles that describe them.

ToSee
Set up the label content and Label Type as Production Output on the Label Page to print the production-related documentsLabel header
Select the required Label Code from the available lists on the Label Selection pageLabel selection

If the Qty. to Output is greater than zero, the system will automatically print an item label during the Output posting process. The layout of the printed item label matches the details of the newly posted Output. For more information, see Label output files.

Important

The item label is generated specifically for the inventory resulting from Quick Production and does not extend to printing labels for the individual components, i.e., From Item No. used for the production process.

You can print the license plate labels for the items produced from Quick Production, like the standard output posting process.

Note

Ensure that the Aptean License Plating extension is installed and configured in your Business Central environment.

  1. Open the Quick Production Entry page.
  2. Fill in the necessary information on the General, From, and To FastTabs.
  3. Add the required items to the additional components of the production order.
  4. On the action bar, select Post > Post and Print Label(s).

When posting the output, ensure that the Qty. to Output is greater than zero and the To License Plate No. field must have a value on the Quick Production Entry page.

Note

Ensure that you include the corresponding license plate Source No. on the Labels page to print the license plate labels.
