Features

With this release of the Aptean Quick Production extension,

• You can define items that can be broken or split to form an item, so the system uses the inventory from the broken source items when the inventory for an item is unavailable. For more information, see Manage broken items.
• You can define broken source items for an item and assign sequences to them, ensuring accurate inventory management and cost prioritization. For more information, see Set up broken items.
• You can manually create production orders for an item from a sales order, inventory pick, warehouse pick, or warehouse shipment. The system applies the broken source item information to the released production order components automatically. For more information, see Create production orders from documents manually.
• The system can automatically create released production orders from a sales order, inventory pick, warehouse shipment, or warehouse pick for broken source items. For more information, see Manage automatic creation of released production orders.
• The system automatically copies lot attribute requirements from sales orders to production orders and production order components for broken source items if the Aptean Advanced Attributes extension is installed. For more information, see Set up quick production.

UI/UX Changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

• The Broken Source Items page has been added.
• The Broken Source Items action has been added to the Item Card page.
• The Planning action has been added to the following pages:
  • Inventory Pick
  • Warehouse Shipment
  • Warehouse Pick
• The Production Orders action has been added to the Sales Order page.
• The Transfer Output to Consumption and Auto copy of Lot attribute for Broken Items toggles have been added to the Quick Production Setup page.
• The following fields have been added to the Broken Item group on the Replenishment FastTab of the Item Card page.
