Quality control scores

You can assign scores for the Quality Control Plans and create the Quality Control Checks based on them. Follow the below steps:

  1. On the Quality Control Plan page, on the action bar, select Scoring.
    The Quality Control Scores page opens.

The Status field on the General FastTab of the Quality Control Plan page must be set to New or Inactive.

  1. In the Score field, enter a value.
  2. On the Check Result field, select Pass or Fail.
  3. Select the next line to enter a new score and then fill in the required fields.
Note

It is not mandatory to fill in the Lot Attribute Name, Lot Attribute Value, and Inspection Status fields.

You can further assign a score criteria for each score. It is used to determine the score of the Quality Control Check. Follow the below steps:

  1. On the Quality Control Scores page, on the action bar, select Criteria.
    The Score Criteria page opens.
  2. In the Criteria Type field, select Question or Category.
  3. In the Criteria field, click the AssistEdit button to select a value.
Note

When you select the Criteria Type as Question, a Quality Control Question included in the Quality Control Plan is selected as the Criteria. If you select Category in the Criteria Type field, the Criteria must be a Quality Control Question Category used for a Quality Control Question in the Quality Control Plan.

  1. In the Calculation field, select a value.

AVGAverage of all questions in the category - should be a weighted average or sample size considered.
MINMinimum of all questions in the category.

  1. In the Equality field, select a value.
  2. In the Value field, enter a value.
Note

You can only select FAIL RATE in the Calculation field for option-type Quality Control Questions. The Criteria is deleted when you delete the specific Quality Control Score.

Quality control check score evaluation

Once you assign the criteria for Quality Control Scores, follow the below steps to create Quality Control Checks with the scores:

  1. On the Quality Control Check page, on the Lines FastTab, enter a value in the Answer field for the Quality Control Question.
  2. On the action bar, choose Score.
    The Quality Control Check score result is displayed in the Score field on the General FastTab and you cannot make any further changes to the document. You can remove the scores by choosing Score > Clear Scores and then add new answers to the Quality Control Questions.
Note

If there are no Criteria set to the Quality Control Scores, the first found score without criteria will be considered for the Quality Control Check. Also, you need to arrange the good score at the start of the Sequence to the bad score at the end.

  1. On the action bar, select Post.

You can directly post the Quality Control Check by skipping to score it. When you choose Post, a dialogue box opens to confirm if you want to score the Quality Control Check and post it. If you choose the proceed, the score value will be automatically updated in the Score field on the General FastTab. Click the score value to view the scoring criteria.

Note

When a Quality Control Check is posted with a Lot No. and a Quality Control Score exists with the Lot Attribute Name, Lot Attribute Value, and Inspection Status fields, the following information can be found on the Lot No. Information Card page:

  • The Inspected Status Code field on the General FastTab displays the value of the Inspection Status field on the Quality Control Scores page.
  • The Lot Attributes FastTab displays the values set in the Lot Attribute Value and Inspection Status fields on the Quality Control Scores page.

    • When printing the Posted Quality Control Check from the Posted Quality Control Check page by choosing Print > Print Document from the action bar, the document will display the Quality Control Score results, Values, and Criteria set for the Quality Control Check under the Scoring section.
