Quality control actions

The Quality Control Actions are automatically created when a Quality Control Check fails based on the Quality Control Action Plan that was assigned initially to the Quality Control Plan Line.

When there is a Quality Control Check failure, the Quality Control User must initiate and complete a Quality Control Action. You can find the available Quality Control Actions for assigned Quality Control Teams on the Quality Control Actions list page. Follow the below steps to initiate a Quality Control Action:

  1. On the Quality Control Actions list page, choose the Quality Control Number in the No. field.
  2. On the Quality Control Action page, on the General FastTab, you can view the completed fields.
  3. In the Assigned To field, choose the Quality Control User.
  4. On the Lines FastTab, fill in the required fields.

You must post the Quality Control Action to complete it. To do so, choose Home on the action bar, and then choose Post. You can view the related Quality Control Check from which the Quality Control Action was triggered by choosing Related > Posted Quality Control Check on the action bar.
